Horrific abuse in retail stores that no-one cares about is revealed. Warning graphic detail.

A mum recently posted online her outrage and disgust at a store mannequin that was glamorously sporting the latest in G-strings and bra’s. Calls for the display to be promptly dismantled and soundly cancelled for promoting overt sexuality have been made on social media.

Telarah Times investigative reporters have uncovered the other side of the story. In a ground-breaking interview with the totally traumatised mannequin the truth is finally revealed. The hate, violence, and vilification directed at mannequins illustrates the horrific treatment and conditions of the artificial community forced into in slave labour by retailers and consumers. The object of this abuse identifies as a gender fluid plastic product and has come out to highlight the abuse. “By changing just a few parts of me I can be anything.” said the POP (Product of Plastic), “Last year I was modelling male swimwear at Target, there were no issues there, and it was speedos and a rashie I modelled then.”

POP discrimination is real, as is the violence they experience on a regular basis. “I’ve had my arms ripped off, been graffitied, and once had my head stolen.” revealed one POP who wished to remain nameless in fear of more violence. Another POP weighed in with disgust at the all-too-common slur of being called a dummy. This comment resounded within the POP community with the blame being placed on the growing bias towards plastic in society as environmentally harmful. The POP community is discussing if industrial action would highlight the issue but are unsure if they could do anything due to being plastic. “We can’t exactly walk off the job as none of our appendage’s work. It’s also hard to enact a go slow considering we just stand around or pose in whatever position we are put in.” said a spokes-mannequin. Okay, I’ve milked this for about as much as I can. This started on a silly idea and I reckon I did a fair job of keeping with the theme. There comes a point when you have to follow the immortal teachings of the great philosopher Kenny Rogers. You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em, and know when to walk away.
